PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automatically seal-welding a tube end with which a tube hole and the tube end part of a tubular member are automatically welded even when the shape of the tube hole on a tube plate and the cross-sectional shape of the tubular member are non-circular. SOLUTION: This welding apparatus is provided with a rotating body 30 which is rotated around the axis A of a centering rod 50 by the driving power of a driving means 60, rotational force transmitting mechanisms 30A, 30D, 41, 65A, 65D, 67, 80, 81 for rotating a welding rod 95 and a torch 91 around the circumference of a centering member by a rotary locus which is similar to the shape of the peripheral part of the tube hole by utilizing the rotational force of the rotating body and direction adjusting mechanisms 30B, 30C, 42, 65B, 65C, 72, 74, 76, 78 79, 84, 85 for adjusting the direction of the torch so that the electrode 92 of a torch is always opposed to the peripheral part of the tube hole and the direction of the normal L of the peripheral part in the view in the direction of the axis A by utilizing the rotational force of the rotating body.
