PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic member being subjected to rust-preventive treatment thinning a coating layer, suppressing stripping of the coating layer, and having excellent rust-preventive performance. SOLUTION: The metallic member 1 being subjected to rust-preventive treatment comprises a metallic member 2 with a given form, a zinc composite coating film 3 formed on an upper layer of the metallic member 2, and a coating layer 4 formed by applying and drying on an upper layer of the zinc composite coating film 3. The used coating paint, the material of the coating layer 4, includes a coating vehicle including an organic solvent and a resin material 41 dissolved in the organic solvent, and a body pigment 40 dispersedly held in the coating vehicle and a rust-preventive pigment 42.
