PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency evacuation tool which enables a slide bar to be installed without spending a special victim and which can be instantly used without assembling the same even in the case evacuees must evacuate when fire occurs and which enables evacuees to slide down while gripping the same without generating heat in the slide bar in the case of fire. SOLUTION: The emergency evacuation tool 2 having a metal sliding bar 21 secured to the outer wall 15 of a building 1 and employed for sliding down evacuees from upper stories to down stories has a hollow portion 22 for passing rain water or living wastewater discharged from the building 1 in the inside axial direction of the slide bar 21 and the slide bar 21 is secured in a position where the evacuees can grip the same from the window 13 or the veranda 14 of the building 1. The evacuees can safely slide down by preventing the temperature of the slide bar 21 from raising by passing water through the hollow portion 22 of the slide bar 21 when fire occurs.
