PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaper having a reaping blade and a motor which drives the blade, and enabling a user to know a proper exchange timing of a blade with an easy structure so as to suppress waste of a blade and lowering of operation efficiency. SOLUTION: This reaper 1 has a reaping blade 2 and a motor 3 which receives electric power from an outside power source P and drives the blade 2. Furthermore, the reaper includes: an electrical current detecting part 4 which detects electrical current flowing to the motor 3 in moving; a memory part 5 which memorizes an electrical current integrated value detected by the electrical current detecting part 4; a control part 6 which estimates a life span of the blade 2, based on an electrical current integrated value memorized in the memory part 5; a warning part 7 which informs a user of a use condition of the blade; and a switching part 8 which modulates a rotation of the motor 3. When an electrical current integrated value memorized in the memory part 5 exceeds a prescribed value, the control part 6 informs the user of the fact by the warning part 7 so as to inform the user of an exchange timing of the blade.
