<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize both printing equipments with each other in the multiplying printing between the printing equipment, the printing speed of which is variable and the printing equipment, the printing speed of which is constant. <P>SOLUTION: The multiplying printing of a continuous paper P is executed between the printing equipments 2 and 3. The printing equipment 2 has variable printing speed and executes printing by a press plate printing system, in which spoilage develops during the period ranging from the start of printing to the development of stable images, while the printing equipment 3 has constant printing speed and executes printing by an electrophotographic system, in which no spoilage develops. At a running-on mode, the multiplying printing is executed in the printing equipments 2 and 3 under the condition that the conveying speed of the printing equipment 3 is employed as the conveying speed of the continuous paper P in the respective printing equipments 2 and 3. At a proofing mode, a speed slower than the conveying speed of the printing equipment 3 is employed as the conveying speed of the continuous paper P in the respective printing equipment 2 and 3 under the condition that printing is executed by the printing equipment 2, while the printing by the printing equipment 3 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
