<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize stream reproduction in a plurality of receiving sides without making a transmitting side and the plurality of receiving sides synchronize time in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting server transmits a stream packet at predetermined transmission timing, and a plurality of receiving terminals reproduce content data of the stream packet. The transmitting server transmits a first control packet, and the plurality of receiving terminals respectively transmit a plurality of second control packets in accordance with the first control packet. The transmitting server respectively transmits a plurality of third control packets including a plurality of packet turnaround times at that time. The plurality of receiving terminals respectively transmit a plurality of fourth control packets including a plurality of time differences on the basis of the plurality of packet turnaround times.
