<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical power steering device capable of improving a heat dissipation effect of a plastic mold component implemented with a heat-generating part such as a relay, coil, and capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering device is of a column-assist-type and includes an electric motor 5 provided to a steering shaft, for transmitting a steering assist force through a transmission mechanism inside a transmission gear box 4. The electric motor 5 and a control unit 19 for controlling drive of the electric motor are both arranged to the transmission gear box 4. The control unit 19 includes a control substrate 19A implemented with a processing device for at least calculating an instruction value, a power substrate 19B implemented with a switching element for the motor, and a plastic mold component 19C integrally implemented with a connector, a relay, and a noise countermeasure part.
