<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obliquely oriented film which has little variation in optical characteristics in a width direction and has excellent winding-up efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the oriented film, a film made of a thermoplastic resin is sent out of a direction different from a film winding up direction after stretching and is made to pass through an oven having a preheating zone, a stretching zone and a cooling zone while transporting the film by gripping both end parts thereof with a gripper to manufacture the oriented film in which an orientation angle θ toward a winding up direction is within a range of 45±5°. Stretching is carried out so as to satisfy formula (1): 15°≤θ1≤30°, formula (2): 15°≤θ2≤30° and formula (3):¾θ1-θ2¾≤5°, wherein θ1 denotes an angle formed by the orientation direction of the film after stretching and a boundary line between the stretching zone and the cooling zone and θ2 denotes an angle formed by the orientation direction of the film after stretching and a boundary line between the cooling zone and the exit of the oven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
