PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer plate for laser repair, with which the energy of a laser beam required for transfer can be saved, a transfer film chip having a properly trimmed outline can be obtained, and a transfer film chip in a form as desired with a properly trimmed outline can be reliably obtained. SOLUTION: The transfer plate comprises a glass plate as a substrate and a transfer material thin film deposited on a repair side of the glass plate. The transfer material thin film is segmented into a plurality of small regions, each having a prescribed form, wherein the size of each small region is controlled to be equal to or smaller than the assumed maximum irradiation spot, the small regions are parted from one another leaving a sufficient space or adjoining via boundary lines, and the boundary line is a separation line that separates the small regions from each other or a thin wall line that loosely connects the small regions.
