PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet having excellent productivity while maintaining optical performance, and to provide a display device and a method for manufacturing the optical sheet. SOLUTION: The optical sheets 10, 20 have a plurality of layers arranged in an observer side from a video light source 2 and controlling light emitted from the video light source to be emitted to the observer side. At least one layer of the plurality of the layers is a base material layer 16. One layer arranged in one face side of the base material layer is made an optical function sheet layer 11 having prism parts 12, 12, ... juxtaposed along a sheet face in order to transmit light and optical absorption parts 13, 13, ... juxtaposed between the prism parts in order to absorb light. One layer arranged in the other face side of the base material layer is an adhesive layer 17, which is not formed on a side facing a side arranging the base material layer of the optical function sheet layer.
