PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resource data to appropriately and easily display characters and its position in animation contents to users. SOLUTION: A facial thumbnail and a facial section are generated as one of the resource data necessary to reproduce MPEG data as indicated has. An information processor generates a static image from a processing object GOP, in step S102. More than one facial image is cut out from the static image, in step S108. It is determined who looks appropriate to the facial image in more than one character registered in a facial-image table, and the determination is displayed on the facial-image table, in step S109. Based on the facial-image table, the facial thumbnail is produced, and the facial section is specified in each of the characters, in step S111.
