The device has a channel spider (1) made of a base body (2) with a transportation unit, which stays in contact with a surface of a device e.g. pipeline and/or wall of a channel. The base body is moved in a pipeline crotch, and the device is installed in the channel, and the transportation unit is fastened to an extension (3). The base body is provided with a device for position stabilization with a unit for position adjustment of the body. The transportation unit is designed as a friction mechanically effective drive with a contact surface tangentially positioned to a surface of the devices.
