METHOD FOR PROCESSING FAILURE OF SLAVE PORT OF MASTER NODE IN ETHERNET RING NETWORK SYSTEM

A method for processing a failure of the slave port of the master node in an Ethernet ring network system, comprises the steps: (1) the master node detects the status of the link directly connecting the slave port; (2) if a failure occurs to the link directly connecting the slave port of the master node, the slave port will be set blocked; and during the failure of the link, the slave port is kept blocked.
