<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling and packaging machine for a vertical gusset square-bottommed bag with a beautiful square bottom, surely preventing a content from intruding into a corner triangle gusset forming the square bottom, and to provide a manufacturing method of the bag. <P>SOLUTION: The filling and packaging machine for the vertical gusset square-bottommed bag for implementing a method of manufacturing the gusset square-bottommed bag includes upper and lower gusset bending plates (30a and 30b) provided above a lateral sealer (14) and forming vertical gussets at both sides of a cylindrical packaging material (F2) before forming a lateral seal, respectively, a triangle sealer (42) attached to the lateral sealer (14) and forming the inner boundary of the corner triangle gusset (BG) for forming the square bottom of the gusset square-bottommed bag as a slanted seal (Sk) that is a mutually heat-sealed portion of inner faces of the cylindrical packaging material (F2) above the lateral seal (Sy), and a widely-opened guide (40) for widely-opening the cylindrical packaging material (F2) at the time of an opening operation of the lateral sealer (14) and forming the upper portion of the lateral seal (Sy) as the square bottom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
