<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of recorrecting skew of recording material. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a printing head 101, a reference plate 106 and a pair of carrying rollers 104a, 104b. The image forming device is further provided with detection means 105a, 105b for detecting the skew state of printing paper P nipped by the pair of carrying rollers 104a, 104b; a carrying control means for performing control to carry the printing paper P to the reverse direction and then carry it to the carrying direction again when skew of the printing paper P is detected by the detection means 105a, 105b; and a regulation member control means for controlling whether or not the reference plate 106 is retracted from the top face of a carrying passage during carrying of the printing paper P to the reverse direction by the carrying control means in accordance with the skew direction of the printing paper P detected by the detection means 105a, 105b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
