<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmission device capable of simplifying sequence control without making packet sequence control, for a radio transmission apparatus and to provide a radio transmission method that uses a directional antenna. <P>SOLUTION: An access point 100 is an integrated control type radio transmission apparatus that uses a directional antenna. At the access point 100, a MAC (media access control) section 110 performs transmission control, and a PHY section 120 performs electrical conversion and mechanical works for sending out data outputted by the MAC section 110 onto telecommunication lines. The access point 100 converts data outputted by the PHY section 120 into radio signals to transmit from an antenna 140 and receives radio signals with the antenna 140.
