PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing with its appearance improved while keeping an antenna housing space, a method for manufacturing the same, and to provide an electronic device. SOLUTION: The casing includes a molding with a recess, a conductive layer provided in the recess, and a protective film provided to cover at least a recess non-formed region in a surface provided with the recess in the surface of the molding and the surface of the conductive layer. The protective film extends generally evenly over the recess non-formed region and the surface of the conductive layer.
