[Class 44] A fastener particularly for securing a slotted moulding strip 4 to an apertured support 14 comprises a pair of integrally connected resilient legs 11 with wings 12 formed with shoulders 13 adapted to snap into engagement with the edges of the support aperture, the device being attached to the moulding strip by transverse arms 15 integral with the legs 11, the arms having terminal resilient tongues 16 disposed so as to bear against the inner surfaces of the flanges 5 of the strip and centrally disposed resilient tongues 19 which bear against the inner upper surface of the strip which is shown as having a corrugation 6. The tongues 19 and the ends of tongues 16 are curved as shown to facilitate insertion of the device at one end of the strip and sliding to the desired position. |
