The method involves dissolving hydrocarbons of fuels (2) stored in an activated carbon filter. Gas stream of combustion air of an internal-combustion engine (5) containing the hydrocarbons is supplied and burned. Gas (3) led through the activated carbon filter is exhaust gas of the internal-combustion engine. The exhaust gas is supplied to the activated carbon filter through a pipe (4). The exhaust gas is regulated through the activated carbon filter. The exhaust gas is removed from the pipe of the internal combustion engine based on a speed of a vehicle.
