The cylinder head (12) has a cylinder head body (14) passing through an inlet channel (16) for inflow of gaseous medium, particularly air or air-fuel mixture. The inlet channel is designed around a zone (21) in the cylinder head body. The heat conductivity of the inlet channel changes reciprocally to the temperature of the cylinder head body. A unit for generating a flow of liquid medium within a cavity (22) is provided. The liquid medium is water or ethanol, where the water is added with an anti-freezing agent, particularly glycol.
