PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device capable of improving the convenience of passengers and operational persons concerned, by enriching information given to the passengers and operational persons concerned on a surface of a door guard panel and/or a door panel. SOLUTION: In the platform door device having door guard panels erected at predetermined intervals at an end portion along a rail of a railroad or a streetcar on the platform of the railroad or the streetcar, and door panels opening/closing spaces between the adjacent door guard panels, the door guard panels and/or the door panels are provided with video devices.
