CAMERA SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECORDING AUDIO MESSAGE TO PHOTOGRAPHY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitution embodiment of a camera system having a digital camera having an integrated color printer.

SOLUTION: A camera system comprises a sensor device for sensing an image; a processing device for processing the sensed image; an audio recording device for recording an audio signal associated with the sensed image; a device for processing the audio signal into a fault tolerant encoded digital version; a printing device including at least one pagewidth printhead for printing the processed sensed image, by using an ink jet printing process on a first area of a print media and for printing the fault tolerant encoded digital version of the audio signal in a second area of the printing media, as an array of ink dots, and a portable hand held unit for the imaging of scenes by the image sensor device and printing and outputting the scenes out of the camera system via the print device.
