PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced composite material which is used in an industrial beam member, is light in weight and highly rigid and yet has excellent vibration-damping properties. SOLUTION: The fiber-reinforced composite material comprises combining laminates each including a plurality of reinforcing fiber layers and has the quadrangular cross-section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The respective laminates are individually laminated, at least one laminate incudes a viscoelastic layer having an ultimate elongation of 50 to 1,000%, and at least one viscoelastic layer in the laminate including the viscoelastic layer(s), is present in the whole area.
