PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a removable machine chamber cover on the back face of a machine chamber, for improving the working efficiency of mounting the machine chamber cover. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises the machine chamber formed on the lower part of the back face of the refrigerator body, and the machine chamber cover 25 provided on the back face of the machine chamber. Herein, a guide rail 10 is provided for allowing the mounting/demounting of the machine chamber cover 25 while sliding it in almost parallel to the back face of the refrigerator body, thus improving the working efficiency of mounting the machine chamber cover 25. The guide rail 10 is formed integrally with an outer box or formed integrally with reinforcing iron plates arranged on the right and left sides of the lower part of the outer box, thereby actualizing inexpensive construction requiring no additional guide rail components while improving working efficiency.
