PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for a fuel pump capable of pumping up fuel in low torque even if no fuel exists in a pump room. SOLUTION: This impeller for the fuel pump applied to the fuel pump having the two pump rooms formed in concentric circular shapes is constituted so that a line segment connecting the diametrical direction inside end 55d of a rear surface 55c positioned at the rotating direction rear side and a diametrical direction outside end 55e out of an inside blade groove 55 formed at a portion corresponding to the inside pump room and a backward tilting angleα2 formed of a line segment extending in the radial direction from the diametrical direction inside end 55d are prescribed as 30°≤α2≤80°. Consequently, it is possible to make gas flow at the impeller inside diameter side to the impeller outside diameter side along the rear surface 55c and to generate large inlet negative pressure by the inside of the inside pump room, and accordingly, it is possible to pump up the fuel in low torque even if no fuel exists in the pump room.
