摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift cable adjusting mechanism for a manual transmission capable of adjusting a length of a gear shift cable at high accuracy while being simple in constitution. SOLUTION: An opening 24c is formed at a positioning arm 24 of a select outer lever 21 connected to a shift and select shaft of a transmission mechanism, and a positioning boss 43 having an opening is provided on the top face of a transmission case 41. When a length of a select cable is adjusted, pins 9 are inserted in each of the openings while the select outer lever 21 is rotated and each of the openings is positioned so as to position the select outer lever 21.
