In a rail mounting structure for mounting a unit (server unit (6)) on a casing (4), the casing is provided with a rail receiver (52) for holding a rail, a rail mounting member (rail mounting part (14)) provided on the unit has a mounting hole (16), and the rail (12) is provided with a rail support part (28) and a plate spring part (30). The rail support part is fitted into the mounting hole and supported by the inner walls thereof. The plate spring member is bent to the inside of the rail support part and locked to the mounting hole, thereby supporting the rail. The rail is held by the rail receiver so as to support the unit by the casing.
