A software keyboard input method for realizing a composite key on an electronic device screen, including: a display step, displaying a multiple of keys on a display device with tactility, at least some key positions therein having the characters; a detection step, detecting a contact action on the key by a user; a judgment step, judging the content corresponding to the key by the user; an input step, inputting the choice of the user to an edition text, enabling to execute an information input of the electronic device screen conveniently and exactly.
