It is intended to provide a container for a volatile pest insect-controlling agent whereby an emitted active ingredient can be effectively released and diffused to thereby control creeping pest insects such as mites, ants and cockroaches. A container (1) for a volatile pest insect-controlling agent which contains a volatile agent (5) held therein and has an emission port (14) for emitting outside the active ingredient emitted from the volatile agent (5), wherein the emission port (14) is formed at such a position that is hidden when viewed directly above the container.
