<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component package with a storage function, which facilitates management of an electronic component, and to provide a method of mounting an electronic component using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component package with a storage function facilitates management of components by: providing, for the electronic component package, a nonvolatile ferroelectric memory for recording electronic component information therein; and reading or recording predetermined information from/to the electronic component package without contacting it by a corresponding storage information reading/writing (R/W) part.
