摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a grayscale out of the grayscale range of an input image to a source driver. SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes a crosstalk correcting unit 7 that corrects crosstalk in a grayscale of image data having a N-bit grayscale of a sub-pixel (N is a positive integer), a source driver 21 that outputs a voltage based on the input grayscale, and a display panel 20 displaying an image at a transmittance based on the output voltage of the source driver 21. The source driver 21 has a (N+n)-bit grayscale (N is a positive integer); the crosstalk correcting unit 7 outputs a (N+n)-bit grayscale to the source driver 21, the grayscale resulting from addition of n bits to the low-order digit of the N bits of an input image; and the crosstalk correcting unit 7 provides a plurality of (N+n)-bit grayscales where the high-order N-bit digits are the maximum or the minimum and outputs N-th power of 2 or more of grayscales.
