PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight side sill protector of a low cost, in which mud, snow or the like hardly enters from a cutout part of a jack-up point, and any shrinkage is not generated in the exposed surface. SOLUTION: A cutout part 19 for avoiding interference with a jack 17 is formed in a bottom wall part 7 of a protector body 13 so as to be opened in an inner edge of the bottom wall part 7. An extension piece 21 having a first blocking wall part 25a with its wall surface being projected in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, and a second blocking wall part 25c integrated with the first blocking wall part 25a with its wall surface being projected in the direction orthogonal to the first blocking wall part 25a is bendably integrated with the inner edge of the bottom wall part 7 on the forward or backward side of the vehicle body of the cutout part 19 via a thin-walled hinge 23. In a bent state in which the extension piece 21 is returned to the inner side of the protector body 13, the first blocking wall part 25a and the second blocking wall part 25c are stood between a lower part 1b of a side sill 1 and the bottom wall part 7 of the protector body 13 to fill the space thereof.
