PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower part structure of a vehicle body capable of improving strength of a side sill and preventing the side sill from being twisted due to falling-down of B pillar when a vehicle collides on its side. SOLUTION: This lower part structure of the vehicle body includes the side sill 4 connected with a lower end part of B pillar 10, a floor panel 6, a floor swelling part 2 swelling upward in a central part in the direction of vehicle width of the floor panel, and a lower slide rail 28 of a slide door opening and closing a rear door opening part. This lower part structure has a rail storage swelling part 20 swelling inward on a vehicle interior side from the side sill above the floor panel to store the lower slide rail of the slide door in a lower part of B pillar and having an opening part for receiving the lower slide rail on an outward side in the direction of vehicle width of the side sill. A forward extended part 30 connected with the side sill and the floor panel and extended in front of a rail storage main body part is connected with a front side of the rail storage swelling part.
