PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable engaging and locking of a seat body with a vehicle body floor or a vehicle body ceiling even while the releasing operation of an operating lever for releasing a locked state between the seat body and the vehicle body floor or the vehicle body ceiling is kept continued. SOLUTION: The ceiling storage type seat can store the seat body 1 by lifting that from the vehicle body floor F to the vehicle body ceiling C. The seat body 1 is arranged with a floor locking device 7 and a ceiling locking device 8. Each locking device 7, 8 can be normally locked. However, the locking is released when each releasing cable connected to the operating lever 5 is pulled, and each locking devices 7, 8 is kept in a state in which engaging lock is impossible. In an operation force transmitting path of the operating lever 5, a switching mechanism 20 transmitting releasing operation force from the operating lever 5 to each releasing cable and then intercepting the transmission of the operation force to return each locking device 7, 8 to a state capable of locking is provided.
