The carrier (10) has carrier elements (14a-14c) fixable to a structure (16) of a motor vehicle. The carrier elements of the carrier are arranged within a loading space, a load compartment and an interior space (12) of the motor vehicle. One of the carrier elements is adjustably and rotatably arrangable between a stowing position (Va) and an application position (Ga). Another carrier element is arranged parallel to a corresponding side wall (18a) of the loading space, the load compartment and the interior space in the stowing position.
