#CMT# #/CMT# The part (1) has a memory chip (5) provided with a unique serial number for clear identification. A fastening device (9) is provided for single or multiple keys. The fastening device is mounted only once. The fastening device is connected with the chip such that reading of characteristics for clear identification is not possible when the fastening device is separated or destructed. The fastening device has a cable section (8) e.g. multi-wired cable, connected with the chip, where the cable section is a part of a pull-down circuit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Plug-in part e.g. jack connector, for utilization with a storage system e.g. cabinet, with a protocol function, where the storage system contains keys e.g. vehicle key in fleet and apartment key for a patient in home care. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The fastening device is connected with the chip such that reading of the characteristics for clear identification is not possible when the fastening device is separated or destructed, thus improving security against intentional manipulation of the keys, while preventing inapplicable protocolling of restoration of the keys so as to effectively restore only the plug-in part.
