PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of reducing computational complexity in a camera. SOLUTION: A reception section 109 of a camera receives relative position information on an object seen from a scope from the scope. A control section 107 generates the relative position information of the object seen from the camera, based on the detection result of a distance measuring sensor 111 and a gyro sensor 112. An operation section 113 calculates a conversion formula based on the relative position information seen from the scope and that seen from the camera, and converts the relative position information on the object seen from the scope to that of the object seen from the camera by the conversion formula. The control section 107 outputs the relative position information after the conversion to a pan head control section 114. The pan head control section 114 controls the direction of the camera so that the camera faces the object, based on the relative position information after the conversion.
