PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentricity gauge for a globe capable of measuring eccentricity of a ball with high dimensional accuracy, at a moderate price, and in a short period of time, which is measuring devices measuring deviance of eccentricity of a globe by applying gravity moment of a golf ball (a globe) itself, because generally a globe such as golf ball has heterogeneous structure, resulted in appearance of an eccentricity or a dynamical center of gravity different from a geometric center of a body, and such eccentricity is what spoils spherical functionality. SOLUTION: The eccentricity gauge for a globe includes a self-rotation forcing means for imposing self-rotation compelling power to the globe within a fluid with larger specific gravity than the globe to perform self-rotation of the globe, a stopping demand time measuring means for measuring the required time after the globe starts reverse rotation due to gravity moment arising from eccentricity of the globe and then repeats further reverse rotation to stop the rotation, an eccentricity computing means, while reckoning the measured time into predetermined formula, for computing eccentricity of the globe based on the formula, and an eccentricity displaying means for displaying the eccentricity thus computed.
