PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement method of an ultrasonic core flow rate meter capable of accurately measuring a core flow rate even when flow rate distribution is observed or is changed in a downcomer. SOLUTION: Either pieces of 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, or 14 pieces of ultrasonic core flow meters are arranged in the circumference direction of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel provided with ten internal pumps. Alternately, either pieces of 5, 7, 9, 10, or 11 pieces of ultrasonic core flow meters are arranged in the circumference direction of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel provided with eight internal pumps.
