PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image photographing device for acquiring uniform radiation image information of high quality. SOLUTION: In this radiation image photographing device, a reading light source part 50, which is made by arranging a multitude of light emitting elements in a direction orthogonal to the extending direction of a linear electrode 72 constituting a radiation detector 48, is moved in the extending direction to apply reading light outputted from the emitting elements to a photoconductive layer 66 for reading via the linear electrode 72, thereby acquiring electric charge information. A wiring circuit of the source part 50 is formed so that the direction of a drive current supplied to the emitting elements is alternately set relative to the extending direction to cancel a varying magnetic field caused by the drive current, thereby preventing a situation in which inappropriate electric charge information arises from the radiation detector 48.
