PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a recording head capable of inexpensively, reliably establishing electrical connection between an actuator unit and a printed wiring board and to provide the recording head. SOLUTION: On the surface of the actuator unit 21 having a plurality of individual electrodes 35, a plurality of conductive bumps 90 which are electrically connected to the plurality of individual electrodes 35, respectively, are formed so as to protrude. An unhardened synthetic resin layer 55 is applied to cover conductive portions 52 of a FPC 50. Then, the plurality of bumps 90 are pressed against the unhardened synthetic resin 55 so as to cause them to penetrate through the synthetic resin layer 55 and bring the plurality of bumps 90 into contact with terminal portions 53 of the conductive portions 52.
