There is provided a method of operating a set of devices (10, 20-22, 30-35), a real- world representation system comprising the set of devices and a detection device (20-22) comprised in the set of devices. The detection device (20-22) determines an ambient parameter of an ambient characteristic of an ambient environment (50) in which the real- world representation system creates an ambient atmosphere. The detection device (20-22) communicates the ambient parameter and its corresponding value to at least one device of said set of devices that is comprised in the real- world representation system, which in response thereto adjusts the operation of the set of devices (10, 30-35).
