In a device (1) which is adapted to using a fluid such as water during its operation and which has an external container member (10), an internal container member (20) and a fluid conveying path (32) between the container members (10, 20), at least a portion of a fluid containing space (11) of the external container member (10) is at a higher level than a bottom (25) of a fluid containing space (21) of the internal container member (20) in a normal operational orientation of the device (1), and the fluid conveying path (32) is adapted to allow a flow of fluid from the external container member (10) to the internal container member (20) under the influence of hydrostatic pressure of the fluid. In this way, it is possible to realize automatic (initial) filling of the internal container member (20) on the basis of a flow of fluid from the external container member (10).
