BUSINESS METHOD FOR IMPROVING LOAD FACTORS FOR AIRLINES

Business method for improving load factors for airlines that apply a booking and ticketing system for revenue passengers, that comprises the steps of: granting membership rights to passengers proving their membership; connecting a listing module to the booking and ticketing system; creating entry places on lists of the listing modules associated with each flight in the system, wherein the number of the entry places are proportional to the number of seats on the flights remaining unoccupied after closure of the booking procedure for the revenue passengers; recording and storing in said lists of travel claims of said members to the associated flights; issuing boarding passes according to the listed order to the listed members appearing by the time of departure for seats remaining free for said flight after closing the check-in procedure.
