A prefabricated tubular product is adapted to find its own position within a borehole by provision of cured composite resin-ceramic materials moulded into stand-off protrusions upon the tubular, wherein selected protrusions include a recess, and in said recess there is provided an expandable composition adapted to extend a stand-off surface from the protrusion when contacted by an activating fluid.
