<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method and a coating apparatus, which enable coating with a uniform film thickness even when a highly viscous coating liquid is used and the film thickness is relatively large. <P>SOLUTION: The coating method comprises coating the surface of a center core 1 with a coating liquid 2. The coating method and the coating apparatus are characterized by installing beforehand a cyclic body 5 in a freely movable state provided with a hole 6 larger than the external diameter of the cross section of the center core 1 in the coating liquid 2 filled in a cyclic coating tank 7, detecting the position of the cyclic body 5 keeping a desired height so as to prevent the bottom surface of the cyclic body 5 from leaving from the liquid surface of the coating liquid 2 while the cyclic body 5 being uplifted from the liquid surface of the coating liquid 2 because of the center core 1 caused to go through the hole 6 of the cyclic body 5, controlling to reduce the ascent rate of the center core 1 compared with that upon initiation of coating, and ascending the center core 1 relatively from the coating liquid 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
