摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system, and device for an optical fiber measuring which measures simultaneously a temperature distribution and a strain distribution of an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: Two optical fibers 6, 7 are installed in parallel under the same temperature environment so that a strain distribution is applied to only one optical fiber 6 thereof, and that the other optical fiber 7 is installed in a free state, Then the two optical fibers are subjected to B-OTDR measurement, to thereby find Brillouin frequency shiftsΔf<SB>1</SB>,Δf<SB>2</SB>of each optical fiber 6, 7.
