PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus and a message output device easily confirming a message even when an operator is in an examination room. SOLUTION: The medical apparatus is provided with: an examination part 1 for photographing a subject P to generate X-ray projection data; an operation room 122 adjacent to an examination room 121 where the examination part 1 is placed; a first display part 41 for displaying image data generated on the basis of the X-ray projection data generated by the examination part 1; a position detection part 5 for detecting a position of an operator of an X-ray diagnostic apparatus 100; a message output part 7 for displaying an important message including warning information on the X-ray diagnostic apparatus 100. On the basis of position information from the position detection part 5, when the operator is located in the examination room 121, the message is displayed to the first display part 41 and to a message output part 7 more identifiably than to the first display part 41.
