APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING GAS HYDRATE PELLET AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING GAS HYDRATE PELLET WITH THE SAME

In producing gas hydrate pellets by compacting a gas hydrate powder, heat generated at the compacting part is removed by a simple method to reduce the degree of gas hydrate decomposition and rapidly and easily remove gas hydrate aggregates which block the compacting part. A gas hydrate pellet production apparatus (A) having rolls (6a) and (6b) is provided, which is characterized by having: a roll-cooling mechanism which passes cooling water through a peripheral part and/or inner part of each roll (6a) or (6b) to cool the rolls (6a) and (6b), cools the cooling water (43) discharged after passing, and supplies the cooled cooling water to the peripheral part and/or inner part of each roll (6a) or (6b); and/or a heating means disposed in part of a hopper chamber (5) which supplies a gas hydrate powder (n) to the rolls (6a) and (6b).
