<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm which external recording medium desired data is stored in among external recording media, located here and there in the surrounding area. <P>SOLUTION: A medium reproducing device 5 stores data thumbnails recorded in respective HDD recorders 1-1 to 1-5 and outline data (filename, comment, or the like) of the data, when a thumbnail and outline data displayed on a display part 5-2 are selected by a selection tool 5-1, identification information of an HDD recorder for recording original data of the selected thumbnail and the selected outline data are transmitted. When the identification information and the outline data from the media playback device 5 are received, the respective HDD recorders 1-1 to 1-5 determine whether they are for own identification information and outline data; and when they are own identification information and outline data, the respective HDD recorders 1-1 to 1-5 make LEDs 2-1 to 2-5 or speakers 3-1 to 3-5 operate, in accordance with the intensity received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
